whats wrong with saying I want taco bell, makes vatos think their eating real mexican food.
But I think i speak for most of us who face border issues on a daily basis encouraging them pisses me off.

I thought the ad was pretty fucking funny.
They don't run it anymore, a bunch of people in the US (where the ad wasn't even being shown) got their panties all in a twist.
I don't think they were encouraging it, either. Hence the old style map.

i'm just saying that if you expect mexican people to see some humor in the taco bell ad, you should grow a sense of humor yourself and see the point of that absolute ad... it's a joke...

oh, so this was a real ad?
I saw it on one of my friend's Myspace page and thought it was something she found on t3h internetz.
I know a lot of hard working Mexicans... then again, I know a lot of thievin ones too.
My parents live in BFE rural Oklahoma and some Mexicans tried to steal some shit out their storage shed. My mom was home and they saw her and ran, but they are lucky my dad wasn't home. They would have been shot. Shit, they're lucky I wasn't there. They would have been shot at. I doubt I would have actually hit them, not too good with shotguns. I don't care what color or race you are, if you're trying to steal stuff that me or my parents worked hard for, you're getting shot, or at least getting a few bullets whizzed by your head.
I dunno what they think they're doing walking around in rural Oklahoma, when a lot of racist rednecks don't need much of a reason to shoot them. Then they try to start stealing stuff? This just adds fuel to the fire. Their demise isn't going to be a very pretty one... and I doubt we'll ever even know anything about it since their family won't call the police and report them missing or dead.
It's sad, really... cuz these are human lives and now they're going to be treated like wolves and coyotes... farmers shooting them b/c they steal things. Even if the police do get called, the farmers had a right b/c everyone has "no trespassing" signs up, and there's a "make my day law" saying if someone comes in the threshold of your house or in your personal space in an aggressive manner you have the right to shoot them. All the farmers have to say is they were trying to talk to them and they tried to attack.
