I love my iPod, it's true that the interface can't be beat.
I also use iTunes all the time, over winamp/WMP. It's a decent program, for sure.

I would suggest looking for an mp3 with a longlasting battery, which iPods are usually horrible for.

if you run the battery all the way down the first few times and don't put it on a charger every night, you get better battery life. mine is 6 months old and it lasts just as long as the day i got it.
