What's a good excuse? It's been a while since I called out. I've used the stomach thing already, I ran out of grandmothers, too early to call out for a headache but I want to give at least 4 hours notice.

There's just days where I'm not feeling it. I bust my ass when I'm in there, usually putting out fires that I didn't even start, completing other employees' work when they're slackin, and I keep my department immaculate. I deserve a day here and there to myself, and so does everybody else that does more than their fair share in the workplace. They even have plenty of coverage (2 more closers than usual).

Got too drunk last night
Banged a really fat chick and I think my dick's broken

food poison sounds like the best bet. the only time i've ever called into work i had a severely sprained ankle and had a dr's note, so i'm not all that keen on how to dodge bosses

My bad, that kind of sounded a lot more pompous than it should have, but you get the idea  My boss actually tells me to take immodium and come in when I tell him I have the shits. I just said I had a bad sore throat and a 101 fever. There was a bug going around so it's believable. I'll be back on the saddle 7am tomorrow morning.  .

I just didnt go to work when i didnt want to a few times. like 5 times actually. i didnt end up getting fired though, i just quit. lol.

I've always just been direct about it. If I dont feel like going to work, I just call my supervisor and tell him.
