Isis while blazed is highly recommended, ive listened to tool for over 10 years and consider them the standard of music period. and these guys are one of the few bands that really grabbed my attention in the past couple years. i was fortunate enough to see them live when they opened for tool during their 10,000 days tour, theyve been around for around 10 years i believe so im fairly late catching these guys but im glad i did. very powerful vocals, ,but anyone thats a fan of good long heavy instrumentals, this is your cup of tea. if you havent heard these guys yet, you need to.

I always seem to listen to Isis while im stoned.
The audio in this video is pretty crap but it gives you a feel for what they are like. A really talented band that seems to come out with some good music!

Checking em out now... what are considered the best albums?
Any particular tracks to look out for too? Uploads?

They are pretty OK. I saw them with Tool as well during the 10k Days tour. I have Panopticon and rarely give it a listen.
In fact this thread made me listen to it and it is better than I thought, but not the type of music I have been getting into lately.
Very Tool esque though except the voice I could do without.

yeah, but at least the screaming vocals are muffled and more subtle than it could have been.
