silent hill and psychedelics?

i'm currently playing SH3 on PS2 and i was thinking if shrooms may "enhance the experience" or would it fuck with my psyche? how intense can scary games get under psychedelics? because without substances that game is fucked up.

any experiences with this sort of stuff? i'm not talking about playing super mario while stoned tho.

I wouldn't even attempt it, Silent Hill is a way too twisted game to play while trippin. I would think it was probably scare the shit out of you and possibly completely ruin your night.

i've generally went outside into nature while tripping or switched off the tv if in a room.

i played God Of War while coming up, it gave out negative vibes and i switched that off.

I remember watching Flatliners on shrooms, I loved it and didn't notice anything creepy about it. Then when I watched it sober, I was like holy shit this is a pretty dark movie... Same with walking about creepy places in the dark- sober, no chance, but on shrooms, any spookyness is just replaced by rationality and intrigue.

It takes something socially complicated to put me in a bad place on shrooms, never a game or movie.

I've always played all the SH games in the past, only watched it while tripping. Me and my friend were playing (well I was tripping so I was watching) and he couldn't find his way out a room in the carnival area (sh3), and I kept feeling really creeped out about the room and kept saying "dude I REALLY don't want to be stuck in that room right now". I would have left the room if I felt like getting up off the couch.
Can't imagine how spooky it would be playing it.

I watched the hills have eyes 2 while under some good L. That was excruicatingly intense. The scene where the zombie rapes the chick had me crouched in a corner. :crazy2: If you are strong minded and can handle twisted shit trippin, go for it.

If there are any games I advise playing while tripping they would be GTA4, Super Stardust HD, Pixeljunk Monsters, Raiden 2,3,and4, any Mario game, and anything real cartoony that is fun and happy. Nothing hardcore or dark or negative yah know?
