I have a lot of respect for mathematicians. I, personally, just don't like pure math and doubt I have the aptitude for it. But hey the sciences are owed to you guys ;-).

I have mad respect for math majors too. Im good at it, but the passion isnt there for me.

Ha ha i wish. Synthing LSD for a living, god man what a dream.

Chem Engineering, like most other Engineering dicaplines has a wide range of carrier pathways. From plastics manufacturing, & industrial processes, to bio engineering fields or pharmicudical manufaturing, and petrolium or alternate fuels and even DOD shit if you want to go that rout.

RIght now, im interested in alternate energy. It's still up in the air, but i will never do DOD shit, my soul aint for sale.

I thought seriously about Bio Engineering. When i made the decision I was switching from Mechanical Eng, and i had more stuff completed for Chem Eng. so i went that rout.

At my school, the Bio Eng degree is packed to the brim with science courses, and they lowerd the requiored Social science and Humanities, as well as anything else that could be cut since you have to meet math, physics, chem and bio competancies, not to mention your core Bio Engineering course.

Had I figured out my direction before i stated college, its likley id be right there with you.
