Don't tell me I should have gone
    #8418713 - 05/18/08 11:54 PM (3 months, 18 days ago)

my cousin had to go out to colorado for some job discussion type business, he works at the local hospital and they sent him there for meetings and discussion/learning whatever...

i was supposed to go with him, he's still there and i would have been too. i would have gone from the 12th to the 22nd. i would have stayed free at the Marriott hotel with him and had everyday to do whatever i wanted. i don't work.

they placed him west of Denver, right next to the foothills which lead up the mountains. the coors brewing factory is right there, and the red rocks amphitheater was in walking distance basically. i could have hiked everyday or layed around the hotel's pool, found a girl or done whatever in denver.

i didn't go, but i payed $300 for the airline ticket. I'm so used to being at home, i can't be away for too long or i feel strange and lost. i didn't go because i'm a fool. i wanted to get off my meds and be home doing it, and it's going alright. the trip could have been groundbreaking in my life, i may have stayed out there and hitched to the grand canyon. i don't want to think about it. don't tell me i should have gone. i hate my logic and the decisions i make.

i should have gone.

Then why not jump on a plane. If things go screwy you can always come home.

well he's coming back on the 22nd. it'd only be a two day trip now once i actually got there. and i'm getting of these fucking benzos and i get double vision when i leave my property. so ill just remain pissed off.

i always liked the reasoning where if you never experienced it you never will know what you missed. it's becoming the moto of my life, reclusive nonsense.

Do it. Do the two day trip even. Get out there and do something, it sounds like it would be healthy and productive.

You'll always have the Shroomery in Colorado for that homesy feel. I'd do it, if even for two days. Plane rides are fun (window seat's a must!).
