It's probably one of the most versatile and underused instruments.
Tony Monaco is kinda a tool, but there aren't too many B-3 players out there, and that last video is a good demonstration of how awesome the instrument is.

My grandpa left me on of those organs (I think it was a b3), unfortunately I had to sell it

They don't even make 'em any more, haven't for a while.
Well, they make new digital ones, I've actually heard they're really good compared to the old ones.

This one had so many knobs that I never learned how to use, probably just as many options as my cheapo Casio.

Oh man I've been gettin' so much Hammond B3 action, courtesy of the magic man Mister Melvin Seals!
Saw him three times from San Diego to Los Angeles on the 7th, 8th, and 9th of the month, and will aim to see him again for three nights in the Santa Cruz / Monterey bay area on the 30th, 31st, and 1st.
I have tons of video footage, but the stuff is large and cumbersome to work with. One of these days I'll have some home spun footage for ya!
But for now, this'll have to do...

thats cool although its basically just a keyboard with another keyboard underneath. its basically just keyboard. so its not like its that different. but its cool, yea, and you would have to play differently using such an instrument like that.
