 LSA Insulfation Possibilities?

I have recently made a polar/non-polar extract of some Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds and ended up with a nice yellow tinted powder to use as I please. Now I know from experience that it can be orally ingested, but looking at it in its beautiful powder form I was considering attempting insulfation. I know LSA is water soluble and its a very fine powder so the possibility is there. I was just wondering if anyone out there has either tried this or has some knowledge that would either give me some confidence in sticking it in my nose, or some evidence that this will fail and just hurt my nose. THANKS

Most substances are more potent when insulated, so you should adjust your dose accordingly. Often they are 2 times as potent so start low. You can always work your way up if necessary.

Soo i snorted some of my extract. It didnt burn at first than after a few minutes it got a little uncomfortable. Minor LSA body high, no visuals or anything(however i did have a low dose) and the pain subsided after about 10 minutes. I would try to do more, but im saving it for this weekend so any further experiments will have to wait. I think it would possibly be a good way to intensify a LSA trip, rather than redosing anyway. Im thinking that if the extract were more pure, it would work perfectly fine, and possibly lead to an all new way to enjoy LSA. Peace

Bryguy, the exact amount would be impossible to calculate, as i did not use a scale. However my original extraction was of 140 seeds. The sprinkle of a line that i did was probably about 1/20th of the extracted powder. So that calculates to about 7 seeds, however you must remember that no extraction is perfect and these seeds weren't the strongest of seeds (10 was a good dose rather than 8 or sometimes even lower) Once i buy some more seeds, prolly some Ololiuquis, I will get it much purer and report back. If anyone had any advise about how to either make it purer from a simple polar/non-polar or how to make it work better as a snuff, i would be very pleased.

You're gonna need chromatography to remove all the gunk that's in there and make it pure enough to insufflate without burning. If you have access to the proper chemicals and a simple thin-layer chromatography column you could produce a very pure, very fluffy white crystal.
