im trying to calm myself down, but knowing that im trying to calm myself down is only pissing me off more
i preach just dealing with it because then its over with and yadda yadda
the problem i have right now is out of my hands
no matter what action i take or how fast and how well i do it, its on other people
and this is fucked
i just dont even feel like wakin up after this shit

What you experienced is probably what old heads call "whiting out." It's a common occurance where the visions (or in your case onset of visions) causes the vision to blur to the point of becoming like white heat. This sensation feels very much like your eyes being burnt out with coals, but it also feels very much like being one with everything. I'd say your brain was in sort of a state of "psychedelic shock" as you made your way to your bed to seek some kind of comfort. Passing out is common when large amounts are ingested at once -- ask anyone who has needledipped or fingerdipped.
Anyhow, I'd say it's a good bet that with ten hits of decent LSD this is what happened to you. Whiting out usually occurs at the 500ug dosage level from what I can tell. After the white out stage, in which the brain can cease to function in any normal manner, the user is normally hit with a myriad of kaleidoscopic wonderments. Waking up, he finds himself swimming in the world around him. It's not a fun time for the person most of the time, as you can imagine.
BUT YOU WILL BE FINE.

Had a couple times (once with a tenstrip) where I got drunk off my fucking ass and decided it'd be great to eat acid.
I love that feeling, no more than an hour after I eat it, where I suddenly wake up from that alky doze to the feeling of an acid body high, and go "Oh god, I didn't, did I? Oh yeah, I did." Very sobering, ironically.
Anyway, if you're on a tenstrip, meditate right now. Just lie down, breathe deep, clear your mind. There's more to acid than "handling" it.

it wasn't so much the trip or life or anything
the waking up thing wasnt even that bad either, just bugged me the fuck out
like i said, some personal shit was brought to my attention a lil bit after i had woken up, and that just totally fucked the whole trip for me... and being in the middle of a trip that intense and having to hear and deal with that shit just...

I know where you're coming from, Ell Ess, the first time I ever did a high dose of LSD by myself was the same day that my mother found out that I was taking opiates occasionally. Fighting with the person who birthed you on 1200ug isn't the funnest thing to do, but luckily the fight happened at the beginning of the trip and by the end I had dealt with all my emotions concerning it and, incidentally, kicked the opiate habit.

can you tell us more about yourself songcycle?
twice i've seen people go to sleep during come-ups of psychedelic trips (and i fell asleep once while coming up on ayahuasca). i assumed it was some sort of mental protective mechanism. the brain know's whats coming and decides its easier to just go to sleep.

One time I fell asleep on a HBWR come-up... the shit made me tired as hell before it started to really make me trip.
I woke up right as it was peaking, so I got no complaints.

Yeh the same thing happened to me when i took a 100g of v.strong dried Peruvian torch. I was knackered so just went to lie down on my bed after i took it and stupidly fell asleep. After about 2-3 hours when i was in deep sleep and the mescaline had started to kick in, I woke bolt upright. It scared the shit out of me i didn't know where i was and was convinced that what i had just been dreaming about was reality and had just happened to me. I couldn't even remember all the dream and was in a state of confusion trying to piece together what the hell happened for most of the trip. My advice, don't wake up tripping after taking lots of psychedelics, not good.
