There's shrooms in Albert park!? Did you clean the place out or do you think I might be able to find some tomorrow? What part of Albert Park exactly? First time shroomer here, I live on the north shore but would make the journey to town just for a definite sighting.

Hah well I just came across a little patch randomly. Not telling where though, no point as yeah I certainly cleaned the place out of what I could find.

Just a small update! Here's a comparison of the Psilocybe aucklandii specimen in my post a few pages back, these two images of the same specimen were taken seven days apart!
And these two of an interesting Amanita species.

Amazing photos. Darvin Deshazer thinks its a Cystolepiota pseudogranulosa and Rod Tulloss thinks its in Amanita section Leipidella subsection Vittadiniae.

Definitely a Cystolepiota.
Inski, did you pick any?? If you did, did you notice and bruising?

Wish is very sweet, obviously, but curecat is roughly as sweet as an unripe lemon.

I went for a small hunt today in the Auckland area and was lucky enough to come across a new Psilocybe subaeruginosa patch, unfortunately there were only some new pins and some older specimens! Here are some images.
In a week or so I should be able to get some nicer pictures This cluster of a Pholiota species was found fruiting in the same area as the above mushrooms!
Hi CureCat, I didn't collect any of the strange Amanita species but have in the past and did not notice any bruising, I will collect some tomorrow and do some microscopy! inski...
