I know exactly what you're talking about.. I rarely ever smoke.. but when I do, I do it on my own and I go to bed shortly afterwards with my headphones and ipod.
I whack on some tunes with no lyrics and float (well actually its more like I'm in a bubble getting sucked) across the universe. The feeling of expansion really kicks shit up a gear. It parallels meditation on many levels.
I'm going to do exactly that tonight actually
