Over two weeks casing...should I just fruit

I've redone casing due to excess lime, and still two weeks later there are only several LIGHT patches over mycelial growth in 18.4x23.3inches substrate.
Should I just put some light on them. I have no idea why it didn't work well. It's colonized below...way past due. This is really discouraging. This casing mixture was right. In monotub. The moisture was field capacity. Foil is over the casing. This process from inoculating jars has taken an insane amount time total. Can I just fruit this shit? Or will it even fruit anymore? I've lost all enthusiasm over this, and hope...but there is no contam. What can I do? Just putting light on thru the top is going to make things better? Or no better? Help please o_O
note: the first casing was kept 2 weeks, and now this one too...another 2 weeks

the excess lime is probably what stalled them, it wouldnt hurt to just throw them in the FC, if you still cant get the myc to grow off that you might need to scrape the casing again and scrape about half an inch off the sub then recase

u sure you are misting properly? the mycelium wont take hold of the casing layer unless it has the right moisture content. check out hyphae's pinning strategy.

EDIT: I just pulled up the foil, to mist again and I see two big pins. Opposite sides, coming up through. And under good light was surprised to find the mycelial network had done a lot of work really fast. It spread, and I turned a light on. SO, do I pick the 2 pins, to give more energy to the rest of it. Or just let it go naturally?
Will energy efficient bulbs work, or the only other thing I have is using my lava lamp without the glass piece. It's 40w bulb. Should I just use ambient light from ceiling fan with it's efficiency bulbs?
