Bacteria Infested Grow Bag

I have a rye mushroom bag with white bacteria that has contaminated the top portion of the bag. It looks like mycelium, only the bag hasnt been inoculated so I know it is not. Condensation is prevalent inside the bag as is residue on the plastic from the bacteria. The bottom half of the rye appears to be fairly clean, is there any hope to inoculate it? Im not worried about wasting a little spores if there is a chance, but if its already doomed to failure Ill just have to scrap the bag. At the moment I feel that I might as well just give it a shot to see what happens. I smelled at the airflow filter patch and it smells like mildew. Ill put a picture up soon.

IME/IMO contam isn't worth messing with just throw the whole thing away and start new. I wouldn't bet my health against a cheap bag of grain.

Will pasteurization kill the bacterial contamination?

Im not sure it might depend on the bacteria. Whenever I get a contam the whole jar or bag goes in the trash whole, but then again I am a little paranoid.

I had the same problem when I got two rye grow bags with a couple of spore syringes.
My grow companion and I decided to let it fester for a few weeks to see what would happen because we believed it to be mycelium too. Two weeks later we checked it and a foul smell began to overtake the box we had received it all in.
I threw it out later that afternoon. Honestly, messing with contams isn't worth making yourself very sick over. I'd throw it out if I were you. Don't waste healthy spores!
