 My freezer looks like a murder scene

Fuck....I just came home, and found out that our refrigerator has been broken for 2 days. It really wouldn't be that big of a deal, but my roommate is a fucking carnivore and we have 15 pounds of meat in the freezer. This does not make me want to eat a hamburger.

I can see it now....Me standing on the side of the road, hands covered in blood. Hunched over inside of a cardboard shack reminiscent of a summer time lemonade stand. Swatting away flied in the sticky Florida sun.

In the last place I lived our roomie was in charge of paying the electric bill. The last month we were there none of use were really staying there anymore and she apparently decided to just stop paying the bill.
I showed up to clean the place out and was greeted by a refrigerator and freezer FULL of rotting food. That is one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen.

reminds me of once long ago when i smoked a bongrip of salvia next to my dads freezer that contained a dead butchered elk. the freezer started to move and shake like there was an elk trying to get out. i'm not kidding at all. it scared the shit out of me. it all quieted down when the 1 minute trip was over thanfully. i really wonder what would have happened if i had opened the freezer.

i had a similar experience happen to me, only it was MUCH worse. i lived with a bunch of poor stoners.. 4 of us in a 3 bdr. townhouse. we didnt really pay our bills on time.. so our power got shut off.
thing is, we had 15-20 lbs of meat in the freezer. over the first few days of the power outtage, a nice stream of blood trickled out of the cracks, onto the floor below.. one of our roommates thought it would be a good idea to cover the blood with dry cat food (to.. soak it up maybe? fuckin idiot). needless to say, our cats all got worms.
oh, i forgot to mention that when our power got shut off, we never got it turned back on for the remainder of our lease (about 4 months)... and we NEVER opened or cleaned out the fridge/freezer. our lease came to an end, and i was curious.. so i opened the fridge...
mold had grown over the surface of nearly all the canned goods, with a stench potent enough to drop a maggot. i never mustered the courage to crack open the freezer.
i can only imagine the look on the poor chap's face who had to clean that out after we left.. because we didnt take it with us. we left that putrid time bomb for someone else to deal with.
once in awhile, i look back and thank a random deity that i no longer live in any manner even remotely close to this. i can still hear the sounds of fleas jumping all over our strewn-about garbage.
how appropriate that my 420th post details the shenanigans of some filthy stoners.

I've fed my dogs raw deer and lamb meat and beef.
