 Crying over Cigs

last night approx. 11:45p.m. eastern time i consumed 1 mushroom weighing dry 3.6 grams. Strain was Brazilian and setting was my dark room in bed, with laptop on top of me in my face. Nothing ate for about 10 hours. Have consumed shrooms 4 times in the last couple weeks so i was alittle worried over tolerance.
30 minutes- I'm watching The new Harold and Kumar laughing more then necessary. I can feel it throughout my body.
45 minutes- i go to the bathroom and notice my pupils huge. I stared at my reflection with nothing. I proceeded outside where i smoked a cig.
1 hour 30 minutes- movie is over and i feel like a spent slinky sloppily going down stairs as i walk. I notice slight waving and breathing. Nothing big, but the body high is what is getting me going.
2 hours- i have just been sitting here listening to a mix of eminem and techno. watching it on my computer with g-force background is blowing my mind. (good investment their)
2 hours 30 minutes- go back outside to smoke a cig. this time it is different. i look at the trees in the dark lightly lit by moon swaying to and fro int eh mist of the light and variable winds. i look at my cig and realize how unnatural it is to smoke compared to the trees. its weird I'm looking at the trees thinking how beautiful they are. The harsh smoke of my Newport is making feel like I'm disrespecting nature.
i proceeded to go in my room sit in the corner and hardcore cry for about and hour. I was so upset at how cigs were killing me and nature. That is all i thought about. My girl woke up heard me crying and told me to come to bed. I did. got my cock sucked and tried to go to sleep. I just sat their thinking how bad i felt. the trip was coming down around 4a.m. or so. From then till now i have smoked 4 cigs compared to a pack a day.
Will this be a changing moment in my life. Right now at this point i think it is, and i believe soon cigs will be a thing of the past for me.

mushrooms are so amazing. everytime i do mushrooms i feel like i am one with peace. where everything seems so beautiful and natural. i quit smoking cigs and quit doing drugs. months later i'm back again. maybe its cause i see all my friends doing it so that whole peace and natural stuff just went out the door. in my opinion mushrooms has been the best rehab.

This happened to me on LSA.
Had a monster dose last night, woke up this morning reflecting on my lifestyle. Seeing how much harm most drugs, especially smoking are doing to me really made me make some big decisions...

cool. next time try doing the mushrooms as a ceremony in silence and meditation without all of the artificial technology as stimulus. try attuning to silence, nature, and your own deep inner self.
the shrooms are right tho. the cigs will kill you--especially newports!

don't get me wrong i'd say 85-90 percent of my trips are down in silence. By myslef in the woods. Beautiful.

I think that your trip seems like a very positive experience. A classic example of something that everyone already knows (cigarettes being bad for you) being put into light by psychedelics. It's kind of like politicians sending young men to war, and then experiencing war firsthand and realizing what they've been doing. Sometimes all we need is a new perspective on things.
This is a positive step for you, good luck on quitting!
