 Weird Blue/Purple Spots showing up

Not sure what this is. To be honest, they look like bruises, but they are showing up in the damnedest areas. On my feet, on my lower abdomen, on the backside of my calves. These are not places that are getting hit/bruised, so what could be causing this? They don't really look exactly like bruises anyhow, they are a bit more wispy looking, and the biggest one is about the size of a quarter.
I looked on WebMd.com but couldn't find anything.

 i found out what it was. sharpie marker stains! lol.......
turns out, i had left a sharpie in the washer/dryer and the sharpie spot-stained a few of my cloths in certain areas, and then i wore these particular clothes and the sharpie-ink in the cloth leaked onto my skin.

I had a similar incident that was more of a stoner moment. I had a wart on my finger that I ripped off and of course it bled like hell. I thought I'd be clever and use a bic to cauterize the wound. After teasing it with the flame a bit I started watching TV or something. A few minutes later I looked at it to see if it stopped bleeding and it was turning black! I had a little mini heart attack but quickly realized it was lighter residue. I thought my finger was gonna fall off.
