 Any recommendations for a streaming mp3 recorder

something that could record off of something similar to rhapsody and pandora?
my buddy says he has some shareware on his work pc that can record off of rhapsody, but he keeps flaking on the name of it.

why not just d/l your tunes from a 70rr3n7 site and get decent quality. usually streaming music on the internet is crap quality.

how is that a funny idea? most music on the net is streamed as mp3 w/ a 128 bitrate. if he records that off his mic then it will become a wave. then he will have to transcode the wave back to mp3 and lose even more quality (like a 64 bitrate). he could just use a private tracker and get the same music in lame V0 or 320 bitrate.
