I would argue that carbon emissions are a far worse enemy. The carbon that your car emits stays in the atmosphere for a century. Water only stays for a few days, a few weeks max. Carbon contributes far more to global warming in the long run.

Where are you getting this shit man? You have to post links.

Last time you claimed that running off of hydrogen emits less water vapor than running off of gasoline. Then your own linke said thats not the case, they emit the same. Seriously dude, it looks like your just making shit up.

Why don't you go do some research before calling me a liar? The article says they emit approximately the same amount of water vapor, that doesn't mean fuel cells don't emit less.

Engine Type Water Vapor/mile
Gasoline Combustion 0.39 lb.
Fuel Cell Running on Hydrogen from Gasoline 0.32 lb.
Fuel Cell Running on Hydrogen from Methane 0.25 lb.
Fuel Cell Running on Renewable Hydrogen 0.25 lb.

Look it up, carbon emissions stay in the atmosphere for over a century. Since you don't like researching just look at the article I ALREADY posted.

I cannot find where the graph is, but clouds have much more of a thermal insulating effect than co2 levels. Compare how warm it is on a day with clear skies the night before, and one that's clouded over.

http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_ob=ArticleURL&_udi=B6T3Y-4BYNR1Y-3&_user=10&_rdoc=1&_fmt=&_orig=search&_sort=d&view=c&_acct=C000050221&_version=1&_urlVersion=0&_userid=10&md5=2cd50267e9fd9f17c9abe515803ed1f2

Can anyone get that document? I want to find somewhere online how plants use less water when co2 is more available.

Downloading the file now. I went to the site and it almost looks to good to be true. Have these claims been substantiated?

Ok dudes think about this.

First of all, burning hydrocarbons produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. The energy from this reaction is used to move the pistons in your engine, at a very low efficiency. 30% or something.

A fuel cell also produces water as a byproduct. If it is 90% efficient, it is reasonable to assume that a normal car would actually produce more water, even if you assume a fuel cell produces twice as much water... as it is three times more efficient.

Anyways, water happens to turn into a liquid at atmospheric temperature and pressure... something carbon dioxide does not do. The water from your exhaust will not build up in the air, it will condense and build up in the oceans, and the atmosphere will remain at its normal, equilibrium amount of water vapour. Carbon dioxide does not condense out of the atmosphere. It is absorbed by forests and the ocean though. Much more slowly than we are producing it.

You're 30-90 % efficiency arguments don't make sense.

This presumes that the earth now is close to equilibrium w/ re: water and vapor, something I'm not sure if its true or not, but I would presume not since the air is seldom at 100% humidity- which I would presume to be the equilibrium point- correct me if I'm wrong.

You also presume that after the introduction of more water vapor the water/vapor system would stay at about the same deviation from equilibrium, another thing I don't know why you can presume.

there are more reviews by just doing google searches seem legitimate, I haven't found one person who claims its BS.

That's because all those reviewers are getting a $44 commission when someone buys those Water4gas books using their links, search for Water4gas at http://www.clickbank.com/marketplace.htm

Interesting point, I did the search but didn't find any definite information saying that anybody was getting a commision. They are giving people discounts for marketing it for them but I still haven't found one place that says its a scam (which if it was you would think at least one person would have pointed it out by now). Not to mention that there are people all over the internet doing this at science forums even at places like http://hhoforums.com/ a new HHO Forum where people are adapting this technology. Its also not just water4gas.com there are multiple companies selling this information and having it reviewed. Commision may play a part but its not an elaborate scam portrayed by multiple companies using commision to fool the ready audience.

I've attached the .rar version of the book

To the first thing, this is a very loose qualitative thing, Im just saying that cars DO produce a lot of water vapor, for all those who didnt get it. I did not consider the enthalphy of reaction of either energy source etc.

The definition of equilibrium is the point at which a system wants to rest. If the atmosphere could absorb more water vapor, it would never rain. It rains because the equilibrium humidity drops below the actual value, and liquid water starts to precipitate out. The solubility of water in air relies mainly on temperature and pressure. While one could argue that since global warming is happening, slightly more water could be absorbed by the air, this does NOT imply that all the water from your exhaust is collecting in the air.

75% of the surface area of the Earth is covered by water, if it wanted to be in the air, it would be there by now.
