nothing better to jump start your day than some fresh squeezed veggie and fruit juice in a smoothie.

That's the reason I grow carrots. I like the baby ones as well.

Checked my garden, so far my zuchinni, squash, carrots, lettuce, spinach and cukes are going great.

Corn's not up yet, but I didn't expect it to be. I'm checking my extended forecast and if it doesn't call for any more very cool nights I'll finally be getting my 'maters out since the blackberries are starting to bloom.

And my dog caught a rabbit the other morning. Good dog! She's a good rabbit dog naturally, so when I planted this garden I walked her over and explained that it was her job to keep the bunnies out. Guess she understood me.

No I didn't eat it. (Just how southern do y'all think I am?) It had been out all night. That would be too much like roadkill for me. But I could eat a rabbit that was caught wild. I'd have to know it was fresh though.

Sorry ruger but it's a delicacy if done right.

i tilled up a 30'x8' space yesterday and planted snap beans and okra in a part of it.  also got some of the squashes put in and have a few more to get out before leaving

broccoli and brussels are about played out and will be removed in a week or two.  tomatoes are doing well, and the carrots are looking (and tasting) great
