Cosmic, what size tank do you have? Any previous experience keeping amphibians?

my tank is 30"x13"x12"

I've kept birds, fish, and mammals but no amphibians or reptiles.

I used to breed snakes and house many reptiles, etc.

3 western hognoses
2 pastel ball pythons
1 awesome snapping turtle
1 whites tree frog
2 bearded dragons
1 map turtle
2 red eared sliders
1 eastern redbelly

That is all, lost them all (except the turtles) in a freak accident involving a blizzard, a week long vacation, and failed heating :frown:

Eh, old post but why not revive it?

That grey treefrog is awesome. They are really cool animals. They used to hang out all over the deck at my parents house. Once they pick a spot they like they will stay there all summer long. They go out exploring for food at night and come back to their safe spot to sleep during the day.

They're pretty smart actually. When it would get cold outside we'd find them hanging out around the fringes of my friend's hot tub cover.
