A high school trip to an amusement park in Ohio was cut short for 200 students when one of them became ill after eating a brownie laced with marijuana, a district official said Thursday.
During the annual trip for West Bloomfield High physics students, the student complained of sickness and was taken to a medical facility at the park in Sandusky, Ohio, said Joey Spano of the West Bloomfield School District.
The boy then admitted to having eaten a brownie baked with marijuana.
Officials at the Cedar Point amusement park contacted a school representative as well as the park police. Police wrote a report, but no criminal charges were filed, park spokesman Robin Innes said Thursday.
While administrators believe there were only a few students involved, they decided it was best to bring everyone home early, said Spano, the district's director of community relations and education.
"We're saddened that some students acted inappropriately, and we'll deal with it according to our school policy," Spano said.
School administrators were interviewing students and conducting an investigation, she said, adding the police liaison officer probably would be involved.

i admit when i first started blazin at 12 1 time i blazed sooooooooooo much and was coughing nonstop madly
droolin and couldnt breathe i thought i was gonna die
but that was cuz i was coughin so hard that my ribs hurt
so its kinda diff but ya it happens 2 newbs
