you can easily "trip" off weed. It is in a different way than most hallucinogenics though. Just like you can trip off PCP, ketamine, DXM, salvia, etc....
With a low tolerance and some heady buds/hash, you can easily blast yourself off into a full blown psychedelic experience that lasts about an hour. I used to hallucinate every time I smoked, now I'm lucky to get some mild visual disturbances.

Actually, I don't get high anymore, I skip straight to stoned

haha i know what you mean dood, sometimes getting REALLY stoned kinda sucks because of paranoia. I always wish for a higher tolerance when i get overly paranoid like that, but then after about a week I'm pissed cuz im not getting blasted anymore

Yea man. I'm in debate about this. Need some help. Ok well I described that weed experience but when i trip I don't just see things that are there. It's just an alter view of it. But I have never seen anything altered on weed. So could you call this a trip if you don't really see anything. I just wouldn't ever say weed trip because I don't believe it. Myabe similar body high but deff not the same.

a minority of people (believe it or not) experience open eye hallucinations while under the influence of weed. I am one of these people. It pretty much rawks btw. I'd also say that the body buzz i get off of weed is NOTHING like hallucinogens, not even close....at all....in absolutely no way. Sometimes the visuals are similar (usually not though).
When I'm really high on weed, i see visuals similar to a DXM high...everything looks wierd/distorted. I can't really explain it, but it happens. Sometimes objects in the room will switch position and sway back and forth. Everything looks very bright and outlined. In a dimly lit room at night, and if im not focusing directly on the object, but just in its general direction it stimulates a LOT of visual distortion and this is usually where I get most of the hallucinations from. I love it.

Ya it was such a surreal experience for me. I guess I'm just a huge lightweight. But I was just laying in bed for what mustve been an hour, and my heart was racing, and I literally felt like something deep with my subconcious was telling me things through the music I was listening to..totally bizarre. Like at one point, I was listening to the song "godless" by the dandy warhols, and it seemed like the lyrics were in sync, with the thoughts going through my head about the nature of the universe, reality etc. I know now weed isn't something i can mess with half heartedly.

I wouldn't say it's necessarily made me take weed more seriously, but I definately have to give it more thought as to when/where I smoke
Today's stoned adventure in Japanese class could've gone better, but I busted some awesome stream-of-consciousness shit about a man who could write forever

Haha, yes we can joke about it in our sober state, but we both kno, this weekend is gonna be strangely & terrifyingly beautiful in more ways than one.
It is almost a game that my sober self and my stoned self play with each other. Gah!

Nearly the same thing happened to me my second time smoking. I could barely walk at first cause it felt like the entire world was shaking like an earthquake. Then... lets just say that Dark Side of the Moon REALLY spoke to me.

This started happening to me sometime last year after a big night on the bongs with a gram or two of shrooms.
Ever since then I have extremely profound thoughts when I get stoned. The same sort of silence-imbuing poignancy as acid, but to a lesser extent of course.
Especially with good quality, natural nugs. If anyone uses a coffee grinder to chop their weed up, make sure you scrape all the resin up. Top off your cones with a decent pinch of resin, that's one of the only ways i enjoy bongs nowadays. Gets me really fucked, it's legit.

one common visual i would get when i smoke reallllly good pot is, i would close my eyes and see bright orange and green, like the colors of the bud i had smoked.... and even once on mushrooms i saw it as a orange and green dragon, with lime smoke trailing out its nostrils, after smoking very good bud.

You've never had altered perception from weed?
The first few times I got high were probably some of my most mind altering experience. I had no idea what to expect.
And it was awesome.
