Calea Zacatechichi (Dream Herb) help

hey all. I've got myself some dream herb seed pods over here, and was wondering if maybe someone might be able to help me out with cultivating them.
first questions first: should I break the seed pod up and scatter it in the soile, or just plant a few of the seed pods still intact?
I've tried a few times to plant these with little to no success. A couple sprouts onces (so seeds are viable) but they quickly died off. I now have access to a green house, which i'm hoping will really help with getting some of these going.
Has anyone here had any success with Calea Zacatechichi seeds?

I've had moderate success with spreading the seeds out over some very fertile soil, then tamping them down and sprinkling a fine layer of soil on top of them. Spray with a fine mist to water them. But yeah I would say break the seedpods open. If you can get cuttings it would be a lot easier, but starting seeds is more rewarding in my opinion. Good luck

Once you get them going it will be worth it as they are then very vigorous. I once had a serious pest problem that would've killed any other plant... I thought I was gonna kill it too since the only solution I found was serious trimming....it just resprouted like nothing had happened.

Its not super stoney or anything, but it isn't supposed to be. You drink tea and smoke cig of it before bed to enhance dreaming. It is supposed to make your dreams more vivid, and make lucid dreaming and such easier. I have found it to be effective, but only after a few times of using it.

eh, I've gotten mildly stoned from smoking it before. It makes a nice smoking blend with passionflower, mugwort, and some other stuff. But I agree the majority of its effects are found with repeated use as tea and cigarette combination
