this past saturday my friends mark, john and i got some 20x salvia extract (grape flavored, haha)from waterbeds and stuff. we went to this park nearby and smoked it out of this nice glass bong that john lifted from a tobacco store earlier that day. ive got to say, it was one of the craziest experiences of my life. i took one hit of it, and as i exhaled everything with nuts. it seemed like i was in a constant loop for 10 minutes or so. everything around me seemed to be repeating over and over again. i could almost see myself, sort of like an out of body experience but not quite...its hard to explain. anyway, i could see ripples of energy flowing from the distance into mark, then into myself, then into john, then continuing off into infinity. apparently, according to mark, we were laughing for ten minutes straight. i couldnt really tell if i was laughing or not, i dont think i was, but according to mark i was so idk. anyway it was fucking intense, and i cant wait to do it again. luckily i still have some leftover, hehe. anyone else experience a loop sort of like that?

This is pretty close to what happend to me. I had the repitition of handing the pipe to my friend and saying "here you go". The scene just replayed for what seemed like infinite repitions until i struggled to escape from it. It wasnt bad, just a little unnerving seeing the exact scene replay over and over. Mine was in first person tho.

I can also relate. It seems as if music notes, colors, words and actions repeat themselves dozens of times within (what seems like) seconds. After exhaling, most of the time I will just stare at something interesting for a few seconds, but my sitter tells me that I actually had been staring into space for minutes on-end. Total loss of time.

I find things fade more slowly they layer together the sense of time is disrupted because things as old as 3 or 5 seconds ago still seem to be happenning still (not fully faded) and they mix with what is fresh from sensory input. time could just as well be running backwards - I have watche dthe second had sweep back on an analog clock.
persistence of images and sensations let you see behind you, next time with eyes open, turn around in a slow full circle and tell me if you can seem to see behind you afterwards.
persistence of ideas occurs too, and of personality gestures (inner voices) too, you may think you are possessed with other selves who are you but not yet faded.

This is true, in practice. But how would you explain one seeing beyond their field of vision when they have not moved their head or eyes?

Beyond, as in having the ability to see what one would see if they turned their head left, right, up and/or down - only, their head never moves. For example: In a past experience, I sat in the corner of a wall with pillows to prop me up. During the trip, I could see the point of the walls meeting the ceiling (above me), the entire contents and objects against the wall to the left and to the right of me, all while I was looking straight forward.

yes well just prior to the unusual vision event you may have blinked a glance at those spots, or you may just be aware of them from memory and your brain has knit the memory scene with the last viewed one.
the memory scene becomes part of a virtual reality display that seem very real, and which may even have live moving people in it if that matches reality to some extent.
