have you smoked this? if so, what are your observations?
i have smoked the buds of this plant two nights. each time, i have had a gentle "stoning" feeling. but, perhaps it's better function is that it has given me some visual distortion both nights. granted, these are mild, but i do perceive them.
tonight, i smoked it with baybean extract, and drank a cup of wine. i feel very heady right now, and very pleasent.
this stuff grows wild, in random places, in many places across the country (and in some others). i found a previous post on it, but i decided to revive the topic, to attempt to gather other's experience with it.

i would say, about a bowl. perhaps less, but a bowl is a decent amount. (i don't find the smoke unpleasent, either, and i'm not a smoker).
i collected the buds from the tops of the plants just a few days ago. (these are the yellow variety, btw). i didn't let them dry out very well, therefore they took a bit of flaming before they would finally reach a burning-point.
i would like to smoke 2 bowls consecutively, but i really don't like the idea of smoking. (nonetheless, i'm sure i will, in the name of "experimentation".
i plan to experiment with both extracting and with making a tea (which i guess is an extraction, technically). i'll keep you posted, as to what i find (i've seen this plant all-over around here. most have not yet flowered, some not even budding yet).
google this plant; it probably grows where you live (if you live in the usa).
edit: after my first post, i smoked a bowl of: verbascum blattaria buds, baybean extract, and lactuca serriola sap (dried). it wasn't as good as weed, but i was definitely stoned, and feeling good to have succeeded in finding my own blend for a "legal high".
