Any tips on subb hunting, weilii? I might try to find some today. I know of a horse pasture, but I'd like to stick to lawns. I figured you might know some specific information about them in the metro Atlanta area.

7 grams dry, whoa! On a gram for gram basis, subbs can be as potent as cubes. I would definitely start with a lot less than 7 dried grams. YMMV though. I always print everyone since there are often subbs and foens mixed together. That might be why people think they are so weak.

No thats a subb dude. They get pretty big, when i first started hunting them i thought that they were the size of Pan. Foes but once i found my first one i was like holy shit. But newayz cubes look totally different and have different colored spore print(brownish purple)subbs print is black and as you see in that pic those are black also notice how the gills are, look like they have tiny dots on em thats called being mottled and its from the uneven ripening of spores, psilocybes dont do this Panaeolus species always do. And robbyberto i would stick too horse pastures for sure man look for the big healthy clumps of grass(where horse shit has been excreted)the clumps of grass tend too be greener and taller than the rest of the grass in the pasture from being fertilized by the poo, thats where i find my subbs in those clumps. Robby check subbehunter420 guide too hunting subbs its great man. Hope this helps. Peace

There from a tree(i think) man i find em all the time in pasture land with alot of trees in it. Also a ton around the woods behind my house. Dickenz7 sum of those are pan foes. Pan. Foes are an indicator species that subbs could be where your lookin i find them growing side by side sometimes. Also another good way too tell subbs is when you pull em up feel the stem before you pull it. Ive noticed subb stipes are harder and foes or other non active pan species are softer(kinda mushy too the touch/feel) and whiter. Also ive seen foes with lines on the stem so dont just think cuz it has lines its a subb. And for 100% certainty spore print em. Peace

Yes thats safe.
Some people say that its a bad idea to taste deadly mushrooms, but those people probably don't know that chanterelles contain a small amount of alpha-amanitin.
The mushrooms pictured above are http://www.mushroomexpert.com/coprinellus_disseminatus.html
