I love trips... all kinds. I definitely prefer to be alone when tripping. Most people I know use psychedelics very rarely and when they do it is in a social/party atmosphere. I see this as a great folly. There is so much one can do inside one owns head with mushrooms. I always seems to have one reoccurring trip during one point or another during all my experiences. It seems a bit odd to me and almost selfish in a way but I close my eyes and imagine or more accurately see and will energy from things around me into my own being. It is almost as though I create mental archs of energy flowing from one or many objects into myself. For some reason the sun, moon, electrical/light outlets, and other individuals and animals are main recipients of this action. After these experiences I feel almost infused and incredibly energized by the exp

trippen in the summer outside right around 5 so its dark out at the end has always produced awwsome trips for me but there is somthin special about doin shrooms in the winter for me like when the sun catches the glitter of the snow on a sunny day thats just awsome lol.

Excellent thread. I haven't taken the poll yet, but intend to soon. I've only taken shrooms twice, both times 1 gram only, and have felt little to no effect from them. I plan to take 1/8 in the near future, probably a sunset trip, and I will take the poll then.
Thanks for all the great insight. And, no, I won't be ingesting them anally.

Did lots of various drugs as a youngster. Had to go through hellish withdrawls too many times. Have been totally drug free since 1996.
Have always felt that hollucinogens hold many answers to the spriritual relm, I knew that from my first LSD experience, at 15 yrs old.
Started growing and eating psilocybes last year,(2007) as a tool in my spiritual practise. Have made my therapist aware and she gave a stamp of aproval on a spiritual & intelectual level. Have found it useful and helpful in re-awakening the creative powers that had been suppressed from living in this world we live in. Usually partake alone, as it is too precious a gift to open up widely to those who would make the situation vulnerable to law enforcement and/or those without understanding. My preference is camping in remote areas with a fire kept by someone who is willing to be an observer. Will continue to use this gift as long as there is a benefit, i.e. indefinitely.
Have been experimenting with only "Cubes" thus far; Equadorian, B+. Have a batch of P.E.S.A. strain jars incubating at present.
Would caution anyone receiving the grace of the creator, (which ever name fits you), through hallucinogens. Keep it to your self, or a select few that have proven trust.

Ok, so I'm basically new to this shit so i got a couple questions. Cool?, cool. Ok so i got on shrooms cause i did them with some friends but then i moved. It sucked, but thats not the point.
Ok, so I'm not good with sizes and amounts. so can someone help me out with what different sizes look like and stuff. I mean its kinda a stupid question but, it would be very helpful.

I did an 1/8 my first time and that was THE best experience of my life. I cant describe what my trip was like but it was dark and I was in a wooded lot, and I dont know I just cant explain lol.

i did 2 grams on my first trip. i was in my bed. had some hendrix and some zeplin playin in the background. the music was great at first... then i decided that i wanted it to be quiet so i just went in my backyard (i have a big wooded backyard) and sat down in the grass all night. it's hard to explain, but it was like i could look down on myself. it was almost like an out of body experience. it was the best and most profound time of my life so far.

The first time I tripped i did 1/8 of shrooms.
my friend gave it to me, and he gets em baked into little chocolate reeces cup things.
so each chocolate is an 1/8, and I'm eating 2 soon
