The Relevance of Communication

Does anyone else here sometimes perceive words/images to relate directly to your thoughts? Either previous thoughts or almost as direct answers.
This relates to the idea of synchronicity. For instance If you were high and paranoid about cops coming to your house, then I really dramatized commercial for Cops would come on, sometimes in a seemingly mocking fashion.
Or if you think something, then a nearby person responds in a way that applies directly to your thoughts, but also flows into normal conversation. This happens in a manner that the "speaker" seems unaware of the response to your thoughts.
This also happens to me A LOT with my girlfriend when she is falling asleep. She says really "strange" things when she falls asleep, but somethings they cut strait through my thoughts in a way that is incredibly moving.
I experience this EVERY time I smoke marijuana. It also happens on other substances, and when I am in a generally more "aware" state.

"It's like, M.C. Escher."

Yep synchronicity is pretty interesting when it happens, but I'm pretty sure it's just my mind picking up on patterns. Our brains are pretty good at convincing us of relationships between things. I guess you could say thinking is just the experience of your brain pulling different ideas and senses together into coherent thoughts. How closely this person's web of thoughts mirrors the objective world depends on the person. Both sane and insane people are experiencing a very real world, subjectively.
So basically, yes I notice synchronicity, no I don't think it has any objective or divine basis, and yes it is amazing.
-------------------- I found myself going away
Never wanting to go back again.
Leaving all my thoughts behind
Searching for some new ones inside.
I found myself.

Yeah - I know what you mean.
Its important to generate relation ships, because we tend to use them as causal to something we enjoy- ie. realizations of the self...Actually if you focus your brain on a question, you will get an answere from such a syncronicity...its really amazing...its happened to me many time...I still think god talks to me through signs...the trouble with synchronicity, is that it is not objecttively existent...ie. You are questioning whether you are on the right path for fullfillment, and you see an eagle...could it represent a number of things??? I tend to try and ask the eagle through telepathy for advice....it seems to work...though they talk to you with no specificity but with a different type of communication that links you.
-------------------- The mind is a creative tool. It searches to protect you, through message sensations(feelings). It is no different than a computer, you need to make sure its anti-virus program is in check and that it doesnt have a script that limits your experience, because of to much precaution.
And remember the computer does not appear to respond to words of anger and frustration - just give it input, in the form of new meanings that you know to be true and its messages to you and the limits it lays out for you, will change.
Guilt is an outcome of believing you are the cause of the problems.
Yet, we are not a cause to something, we see is negative or bad - Unless you believe your intentions are directed towards a bad outcome....
