 How do these jars look?

Hi!
I know that many threads are the same like this so please excuse me for posting another one, but I just want to make certain that these jars are OK. Would someone please take a look at these jars?
My n00beyes cant spot any obvious contams but the mycelium seems quite "thin" in some spots. These spots make the mycelium look a bit darker but that is actually the substrate shining through I think. Overall they all look the same.
You should also know that these jars were inoculated at different times, that's why some of them are more colonized than others.

They look great so far!
Good to see someone using the drinking glass method ..
my very first grows where started that way, and yielded
tons of lovely fruit 
Just wondering ... what the heck is the substrate in
those glasses made of??

Thanks for answering my post bandog, your verdict certainly gave me a calming feeling!
The jars contain BRF and vermiculite. I used the recipe and guide from Fungifun.org, very easy.  However, I didn't find any BRF in any store here so I had to grind it myself. I guess I could have ground it more thoroughly but it seems to do fine, doesn't it? Or maybe that's the reason why the mycelium look a bit thin?
I use drinking glasses because I had problems finding any jars with lids that hade a wide opening. They are cheap whiskey glasses with thick bottoms (won't crack that easily in PC I think).
I'm quite proud I must say, because this is my first grow ever and I did everything myself. I even made the syringes from sporeprints using different teks, and they all seem to work 
I would greatly appreciate if more members of this forum would like to inspect my jars, just to be even more certain that everything is OK. Thanks!

I am a first timer as well, and I can only say that I wish mine looked like that. I may have a bacterial contam. Still investigating to be sure. But I can say those jars look great.

BRF = Brown Rice Flour
You're using brown rice pieces, I'd say .. and it might
not retain as much water as the flour version.

OK, but it seems to work at least I will dunk the cakes after full colonization so that will add water to it, right?

Yeah im a noob too, your mycelium looks great but is thinner than mine, mine is usually much more rugged looking, yours is nice and thin and fluffy. who knows which is better, not i
i just did my first couple dunks and rolls
the first time i left in the fridge for 12 hours and rolled, they have been in the FC for 5 days now, no shroomies yet, but plenty of ariel mycelium poking around
now the second time i did it only only dunked for like 7 hours, the cakes have only been in there for 36 hours and already the mycelium has overtaken the vermiculite i rolled on, whereas the other one didnt do that it just sprouted ariels instead of covering the verm, whats up with that ?

They look good so far...
I believe Staments said something along the line of rhizomorphic mycelium (strands, ropey) > cottony mycelium.
I've seen good fruiting results w/ both varieties, I think he was more referring to pure strain selection.
But yeah, those appear to be colonizing quickly, so unless you start getting stalled growth, smells, or discoloration you probably have nothing to worry about.

I have never grown any myself but, two of my friends grow often and I like to help out and your jars from my inspection look very tasty, Have fun!

looks very tastey. I love the way healthy cube mycelium looks

Alder is not the BEST type of to use
Heat drying cubes is okay and recommended
Sunflower seeds do not cause contams
You should directly mist your cakes
The subjects that I cover are not species specific and can be used in All Aspects of Mycology
