 To solo trip or not to solo trip..

I have tripped about 6 times in my life within a year and a couple months period. First dose was an eight, second was half an eighth, third eight, fourth eighth, fifth 2 grams, sixth eighth. I have never had a bad trip but with my last two eighth trips came a lot of confusion, which I guess I was unprepared for. The confusion passed obviously and I had a great time.
I have always tripped with others, every time except my last being with my good tripping friend. I find that I am intrigued by the spiritual aspect of mushrooms, but with others I can't focus on it too much and get distracted. During my last trip I got the urge/feeling that I needed to trip by myself in order to really learn and gain more from mushrooms.
I currently have 2.2 grams of Hawaiian cubes and am debating whether or not to trip alone when the time is right. Do you think that this is a good idea? I feel like I'm ready to trip alone because I feel that whenever I get confusion or any kind of a negative thought it stems from others and when I go off to be by myself I can control myself and feel better.
So what do you guys think, should I trip alone? Any advice you can give me for my first solo trip would be greatly appreciated.

I think you are prepared. Solo trips are wonderful, most of my trips are solo and it just adds a new edge to it. Good luck, learn a lot.

oooooh, advice. maybe pray that you have an enlightening voyage. it always works for me.
i do this for everything tho, give God the honor in smokin a fatty, smokin some salvia, eatin some mush...just let it be known youre atempting to reach higher states of enlightenment and spirituality by intaking some of the beautiful gifts given us...
this is just my outlook...but u asked for advice, and thats the best i give

I don't usually indulge in mushrooms much anymore, but I know what you mean. The first few times I've tried them was with friends or groups of friends. I had a blast, some of the best times I've had. But nowadays I usually do solo trips, with small/medium doses. I never plan on dosing either, just get up one day, and you know its the day.
Just enjoy man! it'll be a great time!

the best thing I have found to do with mushies is to lay in bed and close my eyes.

I personally always feel more comfortable when I am alone. I can easily lay in bed with no distractions, take off my clothes if I want to, or at least put on pajamas and get comfortable. Not to mention masturbating on psychedelics is pretty sweet.

Ive only had solo trips and i havent had any problems. some paranioia but its easily controlled. i always feel more comfortable alone on shrooms, i can get into wierd thought loops or do wierd shit and theres no one there to tell me im being wierd or to stop.

The last time i tripped, i tripped by myself and it was one of the most beautiful amazing times ive ever had in my life. I usually dont trip by myself, its usually with my boyfriend and i love that more than anything too because it brings us so much closer but i think that people should trip by themselves once in awhile. It gives you a chance to just think about everything and not have to worry about whether or not the people you are tripping with are having a great time too. You can learn alot more about yourself (IMO).

Wow there's some really good advice so far. I play guitar and never had a chance to on psychedelics so I could really get into that and music. I'm not very religious but I would love to explore my spiritual side. I think I could gain a lot of inspiration from psychedelics, I'm a happy twenty year old college student with an awesome girlfriend who could find a lot of inspiration from psychedelics...
I just have to wait for "that day" to come

You and I seem very similar in terms of our psychedelic use which is why I'm pretty certain you would gain a lot from a solo trip. I've tripped the same number as you with similar doses and the main difference is that four of my six trips were alone. I actually prefer taking shrooms alone for the spiritual aspect you said you were seeking. I too find it very difficult to find a group of people that wish for that sort of trip.
2.2 grams is more than manageable given your history. You should be fine.. my advice is take them alone in a comfortable place and just go for it. You will have a different trip that's pretty safe to say. Be sure to tell us how it went

Just try it! It's actually not that bad, it allows you to do what you want, when you want, and when you feel it's right, without the interuption of others.. I can honestly say that solo trips are the most insightful, you wont have any outside interuptions. It's not too different from tripping with a friend, you will get the same effects from the drug, you'll just be a bit more free.. If you're not quite comfortable with it, make sure you have someone to contact to get comfort from.
Be easy bro, it's not that bad, really. Give it a shot! I love tripping alone, I actually prefer it!

do it. prepare good music and a trip friendly environment. turn off phones, have water and oj nearby, trip toys, drawing pads etc.

Mushrooms = trip alone and in bed. when you are in a nice warm cozy bed and laying down it is the best.
