 Suggestion for "jump to first unread post" option on thread title

The "jump to first unread post" option is nice on the actual thread, but it would be nice if you had that option to do so from the forum page where it just lists the thread titles (not the index, the actual forum).
Reason being that I don't always do the math right (from total posts and unread posts) and end up figuring, i.e., that the unread post is on the second page, when really on the third. Then I have to click on the right page and end up loosing the jump to unread thread option.
If instead a user could maybe click this thing:  that appears next to the page number listings on the thread titles w/ multiple pages, I could jump right to the unread post more easily, and I wouldn't be wasting your bandwidth for the first unnecessary page load. It is also something that is allready presnt in the thread title so it wouldn't add clutter like another button or link might.
I realize the whole issue can be avoided by calculating what page the unread thread is on in your head, but I screw this up- I'm dum, and I suspect others do too. Plus the convenience would be nice.

well, if you have the jump to first post option enabled, when you click on the thread's title it should take you directly to that first unread post. is that not working for you or am i not getting what you're saying?

Oh, ok, forgot about that.
I turned it off cuz when the "unread post" counter thingie mixes up (like claiming I read posts I didn't et cet) I have to manually move the page again.
Guess I should just turn it on again, thx
