sounds like a baby toad, you wont get much milk from them. someone said something about mice, you want to wait till their full size for that. you can milk them about every six weeks after it matures. good luck, im getting one (or 2) too from the same source. thanks for letting me know their selling babies i wont expect anything for a while. Peace!

snakes for venom isnt as traumatic. there glands relese by themselves. also this venom is used to save lives. it is also very profitable. milking toads requires rough housing and pissing it of. i havent heard of 5-meo dmt saving lives either. keep them as pets. if the message was pleasant i dont believe they would decide to release venom. its like pimples messaging the doenst usually get the puss out it takes pressure. if this was the case with the toad anytime he scratched a itch he would be wasteing venom. the venom comes out under pressure for example a dog bite. yes milking them doesnt cause severe injury but it for sure causes extreme discomfort. im not saying they arent cool toads but why hurt them just for your pleasure when there are much easier source for 5 meo-dmt.

I have caught literally hundreds of toads.
The venom is released through pores, you don't pop the venom glands. You just squeeze them or even rough handling will make some toads release venom.
My guess is that your toad isn't producing enough venom yet. Give him some time. The downside is you really have to rough handle/mistreat the toad to get the venom. I'm interested in hearing more about this electric current method.

I got some gut load/water/feed cubes. He prefers meal worms over crickets. I have not found live pinkies since we have had him but the search goes on. I was amazed at how much of the food the crickets have eaten. I have always just put in lettuce Have had a pacman for years we had a place that had live pinkies regularly but they have closed and PAC has graduated to mice. Mr Buff is to small for mice yet. I have decided to order a pair, to insure I get a female and Incas Mr Buff is just greedy. As horrible as it makes me, he is a toad not a bear, I will not kill or injure him, if he or the next ones don't give up to me the juice then maybe I don't need it. I have allot of things I don't need, I have a cabinet with pounds of various ehtno's from all over the world some give up their secrets some don't. And to those who take offence to me locating this post here. Were else would it work here?

its called a joke
its cool that you have pet toads
seriously though, whenever ive seen toad venom being harvested like on pbs and stuff, it was done with 2 contacts and very mild dc electricity the dc causes the muscles in the glands to contract and the contraction pushes the venom out of the glands, its not traumatic to the toad, compared to other methods (like popping glands an squeezing)
you then use a rubber spatula to scrape the venom and you can dry it for storage/smoking and stuff

Any major pet store that sells reptiles will probably stock frozen pinkies. Whether or not he will eat those is a different story. Look for a reptile specialty store for live ones. Wait until he's bigger for that. I don't feel bad about feeding them live pinkies, but one time when my bearded dragon was still a juvenile, I tried to feed him one but he was still too young. So he just killed it and then spit it out. I did feel really bad about that. Plus its a waste financially. You might be able to put a small goldfish in his pond and he may eat that when he's older also. You can gut load the meal worms by feeding them dog food prior to feeding them to your toad. They sell hissing cockroaches and a few other feeder insects at most reptile specialty stores. Its better to shop local owned businesses anyways. Even at the chain places they probably also have wax worms and maybe some others. Just be sure to switch it up for him. I didn't look to see if you are or not, but be sure to dust them with a supplement also. There are plants which are a lot more humane sources for 5-MEO. What is his name?

electrolysis barely hurts the toad, especially compared to other methods
