I just think this is an interesting concept to question, if THC is heat activated and the active cannibinoids are released and in turn, are able to be inhaled and absorbed.
Well the question is: after torching a bowl when you're taking a hit, how much the total THC is extracted from the plant?
Is it pointless to take more than say 3 hits because you run into diminishing returns. Those last hits seem to do more harm than high.

Do you guys not know? I'm gonna bet that like when you heat up weed in butter and as soon as the butter kind of boils all the THC is out. I bet your lighter gets it just as hot and all the THC is released in the first few hits.

When you use flame, sadly you destroy some of the THC... The black shit, and the resin, still has THC, but it also has a ton of other shit and byproducts. Will is get you high? yes. Is it good? not really.
Vaporization or cooking it into oil/butter is best, but a solid bong hit is a solid bong hit.. seen?
I have to admit, when I'm stocked I tap out some no so fully smoked chunks... No more than gets sucked through a bong.

It takes a bit longer than that... I simmer my butter for 4 hours, cool then simmer again. It's much stronger than a quick simmer.
I have the comatose friends to prove it.

Exactly. A lot of people end up leaving a somewhat packed bowl when they fall asleep. When I do that, I finish off the rest of the bowl and bam, I start to feel it. What a novel concept
