kinda just mellowed out right now. i wrote this last monday in a theatre class for our 'monologue monday'. i just got done doing research into some chekovian styles of writing and how they used stream of consciousness, and i got into it when i read how anton chekov first kind of started the modernistic movement in the style, and i was ESPECIALLY interested in it when i read how Thom Yorke uses it in A Wolf at the Door. (background: Radiohead is my favorite band of all time. Ever, forever.)
But anyway, to the poem itself. it doesnt have a title.
lay back, look fast dont shout, what about leading astray, free fun take the fast way, slip of the tongue whats it about, whats it about whos to say anyway wahts it about, whats it about quick kid, hung from a noose keen mind, keen face dont waste, keep pace think fast, die slow where do we go? uncharted seas above uncharted seas throat closed up, kiss of a bee i let the rain in, breakfast for two nothing to do, nothing to do, nothing to do, nothing to do burn fast, think slick where to go, die quick quit laughing at me youll reap what you sow quit laughing at me where do we go?
sorry if you didnt like it. it just kinda felt 'right' at the time.
