A little over a month ago was the last time I smoked DMT. I was twisted on seven beers, had no prior plans to smoke any spice, and was by no means well prepared. But the seven beers made me feel a) great and b) like I had absolutely nothing to be afraid of. So I loaded up a moderate dose in the bong and ripped it hard, clearing the chamber after the third hit.
Immediately my mind and body were splayed out into some kind of colorful, fractal (like everything with DMT) hell. My body was everything around me; the worst part was that I had bodily awareness at all, and I was taking deep, labored breaths through the whole experience. It felt like every spot on my entire body was being constantly bombarded by needles, syncopated with that crackling DMT-buzz-tinnitus. I believe was writhing around in agony for the duration of the trip. There was no peace, no moment of clarity. By the time I was able to begin to comprehend how hellish this experience was, I was also beginning to come back to "reality," opening my eyes and realizing that yes, I was a human being lying on his bed, not an incomprehensible and undying universal expression of pain.
Those of you who have been following my posts may have read me make vague references to this experience. I never made a big deal out of it because it seemed fairly obvious to me what had happened - I failed to respect the spice, and it gifted me with a five-minute thrashing. It didn't leave any kind of freaky impression on me or anything, but I've been cutting down on the sauce and last night started practicing vipassana meditation in preparation for my next trip (which will be completely untainted by alcohol, thanks). I don't know now when that trip will be, but I'll know when it's time. I expect it won't be long.
But it's kind of strange to think about it - I don't think I've ever read a trip report like that. I've read of people seeing demons and being raped by crocodiles but never heard of a psychedelic hell, incomprehensible, but relentlessly agonizing. Has anybody else been here?

the first time i smoked dmt, actually 5-meo-dmt, i didn't know what to expect, it scared the shit outta me, that is the most intense shit i've ever felt.
everything went away and i was only aware of my voice, because i kept on repeating 'fuck, i'm fucked up' and the palms of my hand because i kept on rubbing them together. i felt like i was shot out of a cannon at light speed and was blasted into outer space, it looked like star wars hyper speed, all light was replaced by darkness and the tracer like streaks of stars all around me. i was afraid i was going to be like that forever, stuck in the spot i was sitting, and then i came down, thank god...

I dont drink and im not saying im better than you cuz of that im better than no one, but alcohol is a horrible substance you learn nothing from it and it can ruin you life.

i get that every time I accidentally take as much salvia as most people use to just begin to have effects.
it is part of the immaterial level,(on the S-A-L-V-I-A scale) where body sense is greatly altered, things are meshed and merged, but thouth things are hellish and confusing, it is not quite as intense as amnesia, which is a non-recallable hell.
I do not see this degree of discombobulation as a challenge to master, save for steering to a lighter dose on a regular basis.
oddly I like the overall feeling as you emerge from this terrible experience.
