Yeah, thats true but theres complex sugars in veggies and fruits, so as long as your eating a good amount of greens fruits, you should have enough carbs.

Thats also true, protein is hard on the liver and kidneys, so lots of water is essential, so if your taking any kind of caffeine supplement or creatine its always good to drink lots of filtered water, if you live in a place where the water isnt top notch, be sure to get a filtration device, because the chemicals in the water tend to build up in the system. it's not bad when you drink it now and then, but if you drink lots of water because you are sweating it out faster then it might cause some problems, but water quality isnt that serious.
