A young man has been arrested after 46 marihuana plants and 22 magic mushrooms were found growing at his home in Playa Blanca (Lanzarote).

The 46 plants, which ranged from tiny seedlings to mature plants ready for harvest, weighed just less than a kilo.

Indoor growing and drying equipment, as well as precision scales, a cannabis press and €665 euros in cash were also seized during the operation.

i thought spain was lax on drugs. from what i knew, as long as you aren't a dealer they leave you alone... maybe he was dealing though.

it was only 1 kilo all told though, most of them must have been seedlings. he should be able to argue it down to a personal stash
