If you really like her dont let her career choice sway your feelings, you already said you dont do anything illegal so if you like her you have nada to hide and actually CSI work is quite respectable scientific work and not quite the same as a beat cop looking to shake one of us down...look at it as a good thing to find a girl whos got goals instead of being a nobody IMO...

Well I was going to go to school to be a CSI and I've done alot of drugs. And I would have still been open minded. I don't really consider them to be cops, they go specifically after the violent criminals. Not harmless pot smokers.

Crime lab people aren't police officers like in the show. They just sit in the lab and do thier work. They don't even have any law enforcement priveleges, they simply work for the department.
And besides, if you can hide your drug habit from your mother, you can hide it from your girlfriend
