I get the zig-zag rolling tubes + the "tobacco injector" deal ($8 every 4-6 months).
The tubes are $2 for a carton, and the American Spirit can is $10. I did the math once and it came out to something absurd like $0.02 a cigarette. A can is usually good for a carton and a half.
Been doing it for about 4 years now. I'll never buy another pack again. If the price of this skyrockets I'm just going to quit.

Why not just buy American Spirit Tobacco? It's cheap as well and no additives.
I did that for a while then I got lazy again.

well granted they're not hemp fibre but they're intended for tobacco, but you should be able to roll a perfectly tight smooth burning joint with bugler, if you can't do that it's not the paper thats the problem.

I bought a can of Bugler way back when I first started smoking and there was a big ball of mold near the middle of it.
sorry to hear about your bugler experience, the bugler i buy is never moldy and is way better than top, what do you mean they're rolling papers suck, i use them for joints all the time and they burn perfect, nice and slow. perhaps you just dont know how to roll well, a bad carptenter blames his tools.

Prince Albert is the only way to smoke. Won't work in those tube machines, too moist. Get one of them hand rollers and some loose filters and some TOP papers. Works like a charm.
My wife puts filters in her cig's but I prefer mine filterless.

You wouldn't believe cig prices in Quebec.
5$ for the cheapest and most disgusting 6.50$ - 7.60$ for average 8.80$ - 9.90$ for quality
There is a big issue at the moment here concerning cigarettes, there are a lot of Native people growing their own tobacco here and selling them without taxes which pisses off the government of course. People on welfare and even people who can afford "official cigarettes" buy those, you can get like one carton (200 cigs) for 6$.
Since the province is run by a minoritary government, the opposition is whining like crazy while the government doesn't know what to do because they're natives. Would they have been any other nationality they'd have been flooded with trials and suings. Although you can't really sue someone here except if someone totally fucked your life over.

MMM, Prince Albert in a can. I've tried it a few times and was very impressed.
I might pick up a little to try it out again. I haven't rolled my own smokes in a while. It's definitely fun.
Although I had a cop roll up on me one time while I was twisting up a smoke in my car in the Best Buy parking lot. He was absolutely sure he was going to make a score, but once I showed him the pouch and opened up the cig I had rolled he thought it was hilarious.
I even offered him one and he said he would have accepted except he quit smoking.
He didn't even ask to search my car, which is a good thing cause I had a backpack in the back seat with a little bit of bud, a small bag of boomers and 4 boxes of nitrous with a dispenser.
Cops around here are so nice. At least the ones I've run across.

Whoa, close call, I bet actually having the tobacco threw him off and made him not even consider bothering you further...bet you felt lucky as hell when you had 20/20 hindsight...lol.
So I got this special roller to use with tubes and even moister tobacco like Prince Albert or the other higher quality stuff with higher moisture content...I guess it comes from the aging ...but it has density adjustment for all moistures...so thats sweet because PA is truly the nicest around along with american spirit which I got a little bag of too to try also,...it also works with regular old cheap stuff but you have to hand crank it no matter what you use, makes about a pack in 5 minutes and is all steel...pretty sweet so far.
Its made by Mackroller and is one of their sturdiest hand crankers, hope it lasts but it and bacco were only 35 bucks for a carton and a half worth, machine was cheaper in store than online and I cant even find the exact one online but very similar ones...I think Ill like it.

I roll my own when I'm broke, or being cheap. I have a drum of the menthol zig-zag and it doesn't really taste that bad if you put filters in them. Its better than the dick nasty promotional american spirts I've been smoking, they might be free but they suck.

I usually wouldnt choose it because it can be harsh but this Zig Zag mix aint bad in Menthol which I smoke for some reason. Anyone ever smoke roll your own only? I might switch to it considering the price...
I get my Stimulus tomorrow and am actually thinking about getting another kit with the cigerette tubes and your own tobacco and roller to make real filtered cigs, Its way cheaper but the downside is just that the Bacco can get dried before you roll them all..but they got a machine now where you put all your tubes and tobacco in and just turn the crank it and spit out filtered cigs all day...
Maybe quitting would just be better all around but until then its all food for thought to save $...
Can't stand the shit would rather smoke black and milds all day if I am broke.

Have you tried any thing other than Top or Bugler tobacco?
Prince Albert is better than any store bought cig, hands down.

Bank tobacco is nice. I think rollys are better for you, they don't have as many chemicals as normal cigs. And you tend to smoke less because it takes some time to make them.

They also burn longer. A freshly rolled P.A. will last as long as 2 normal cigs.

Store bought cigs are rolled real loose, so it will keep on burning, even if you set it down. And so it will burn up quicker.
Home made cigs are rolled much tighter, so they burn longer, and will go out if you set it down.
