The Vigyan Bhairav Tantra is one of, if not, the best book on spirituality, mysticism & its techniques.
Its a great place to start and a great place to finish as it has every single technique possible. It has all branches of religions packed down into 112 techniques each one incredibly powerful.
The title itself means "techniques for going beyond consciousness" it was the original science of the body & mind, dating back to over 5000 years ago. Just flicking through the book you can feel its power, its truly indescribable. I would recommend it to almost anyone (or at least recommend a few techniques from it) as it has the power to transform your life in beautiful ways. Its message really sticks with you revealing its truth in all areas of your life.
It has everything from breathing methods, self enquiry, chakra work, dream work, to the ultimate technique of emptiness.
I highly recommend the original audio discourses where you can hear Osho giving the talks in Bombay (with traffic horns in the backround included!)
When you meditate its great to put on one of the discourses as they are 1&1/2 hr's long (roughly) so you can soak it up instead of browsing through a chapter in 15 minutes.
They were given as discourses and should be absorbed as such, thats why having the audio files is awesome. Imagine being able to go back 2500 years and hear Buddha speak for over 100 hours. Extremely strange but wonderful things are happening to me just listening to these discourses, if you're spiritually inclined i am sure they can do the same for you.
