 First Timer lookin for some advice

Well ive smoked before, and experience some crazy stuff on salvia, but i really wanna try shrooms but was just wonder how the community feels about them. Are they worth the money?Any serious risks? any info is greatly appreciated.

thats not a horrible price for around here but 1.5g isnt quite "one dose" for myself

15 grams of ganja for 15 bucks? that must be some pretty terrible weed
it depends on how much you would spend on one great night....do you think paying 30 bucks for one night of having a blast is worth it?

3.5 is a what a "dose" of mushrooms should be. you have a lot to learn, and you have come to the right place. Welcome to the shroomery.

I wouldn't say your friends are wrong.
1.5 is a low dose, but definitely still a dose. 3.5 grams is fairly heavy in my opinion.

Make sure you have some good friend who are experienced and smart trippers to take care of you.

Yeah it cracks me up what inflation does to shrooms, here in Ames college kids are willing to and do pay 30+$ for an 1/8th of good shrooms. Seriously!. When you could take that money buy a syringe find some free poo and straw and even buy a 6 dollar tub and grain to get 100 times that much.
Yeah 2-4 gm doses are typical dosages depending on potency but if your new then wade in neway dont just go buy, if you have responsilbities and kids and a job then you need to find the time to do it, if not then forget I mentioned those things. But I mention those things because its impossible to experiance shrooms fully and safely while stresses and obligations are around, they basically need to disappear for awhile, shrooms, stress and issues to deal with dont mix IMO...

their cool, i trust them to the fullest. but they arent that experienced either. Im pretty responsible though, i wouldnt do anything dumb.

yea i dont have any responcibilities, so thats a plus. can anyone explain fully how spores are obtained. i mean can you just like find them in any general place or are they more complicated?

1.5 grams of the typically cultivated for sale and even, just typically cultivated indoor mushroom is a Cubensis. A 1.5 gram dose of cubensis would be considered on the low side of a dose. But there are other species of mushrooms that pack a considerable amount of psilocybin. But yea, you probably will run into cubensis typically.
Doses can be pretty variable, there is some range per fruit body in potency, but more of the equation is every person is different in a sense. To me, 1.5 or so is defintely a decent dose to start with, I got a decent amount of effects from that, a good introduction. To get some pretty damn intense effects with cubensis people start to dose in the 3 gram range. Beyond 3-3.5 grams you can have some pretty intense trips, i've never gone past 2.8 so far.
