In all honesty, what he's doing right now is great. But he was ABYSMAL for the first month of the season.
He's a great hitter, some of the time. But he is the streakiest player I've ever seen. He is either hitting a dinger every fifth at bat or striking out four times a game. He is either blisteringly hot or frigidly cold; there is no in-between.
In some ways I think he's a good fit for the Cubs for that reason. We have enough offensive weapons that we don't NEED Sori to carry the team. When he's hitting, we have a much better chance to win. But even when he isn't, Fuk and D-Lee and Rammy can get it done.
So I don't really want to trade him. Some consistency would be nice, but who are you going to trade for?

It will be interesting to see who has the better year out in left field.
Braun is the more consistent solid hitter. You know what you're getting.
But Sori has these hot streaks where nobody can hit better.
And neither of them can field their position for shit.
