Okay - I just spent twenty minutes trying to figure out how to request it on Netflix. Their automated FAQ sucks balls and it doesn't come up in their search engine. How do I tell Netflix that we want them to carry it?

Man, I am moving to whatever town you live in and going back to 8th grade. I can pass for an 8th grader if I shave every few hours I think. I also need to get around to ordering those videos from you. I learn best by seeing/hearing and not so well by reading unfortunately.

Netflix placed an order, so watch in a few weeks for it to become available. 
If requesting the DVD from your local library, we have a new library vendor they can order from. Give your librarian the UPC code: "09422893376", the author, "Marc R Keith" and the distributor, "Baker and Taylor". B&T is well known to librarians and they'll be able to take it from there. Thanks to all who have ordered.
On another note, I'm working on a full length book, that will ship with an attached DVD. The book will fill in the gaps on fruiting parameters, greenhouse building, contamination, etc., that there simply wasn't enough time available on the Let's Grow Mushrooms DVDs to include. Look for it to be released this winter or next spring.

Starting in March, I'll be helping a public school class of 8th graders learn to grow mushrooms. I've agreed to supply all the expertise, materials, and spawn for the kids to use except the bulk substrate materials, which they'll collect themselves from what other people throw away.
They'll be gathering newspapers, phonebooks, garden and farm waste, tree trimmings, etc., as part of a recycling program they're learning. The slogan for this project is 'Turning Trash to Food'. They'll then use half of their 1/2 pint cakes to inoculate bulk substrates, and the other half to fruit in perlite humidified terrariums. Wish me luck please. The school project can really be the catalyst to take mushrooms and my DVDs mainstream.
I'm glad some local libraries are getting the DVD in. Keep asking people.

RR, a quick question: other than filling in the gaps for the subjects you listed, what else can we expect from the book? Will it be an illustrated/pictorial guide? Do you have an estimate on the number of pages or the price?
I have your 2-DVD set and I must say that it is very professional and excellent quality! I've probably watched it 3 times already. You guys really nailed it for the amateur growers out there
