 WTF Support for 30 cents a day?

So my phone rings, and I was like Hello. The young lady on the other end was all peppy and immediately started rambling. Sir did you know for only 30 cents a day, 9 dollars a month, all the food, education, shelter, medical and some sense of a real life can be provided for an underpriveledged person somewhere in the world.
I was totally taken off guard, I was like, Are you fucking serious, only 9 bucks a month? Why hasnt someone told me about this before? She responds and talks about how they got commercials and I had to have seen them before,... I probaly heard about the program hundreds of times but never stopped to listen.
I was like, I agree, I must have never heard about it because im totally interested now I just never stopped to sign up. She got real happy and asked if I wanted to sign up. I was immediately interested and said yes.
She went off on some verbatim script she had to record while she said it....and when she got to the end of the agreement about this 9 dollars going towards Education, Food, Shelter, Medical etc
she asked if I was willing to participate? I said.. Hell fucking yes... and she giggled then she thanked me and was getting ready to end the call... while congratulating my choice.
I felt like I won the Gahd Damn lottery
This is when I got curious because I still didnt know how the 9 bucks got divided up. I asked her how the checks come and who there written out to because education is expensive in Ames/Des Moines and food isnt cheap either,.. so how exactly does 9 dollars cover it? She didnt understand. She didnt fucking understand.
So I clarified, I was like ok ...so I assume that eventually someone is going to help me enroll in school and somehow give me some stipens or something to go grocery shopping and then help pay my rent by somehow working out some agreement with my mortgage company for this 9 bucks a month divided equally?... but where does medical come in??..Free ER coupons or something?

WTF! I was speechless.
Who is it for then? I retort all snotty like....I was like,... how in the hell are you going to call me and ask if I want all this shit for 9 bucks a month and then tell me it isnt for me? its for someone else? The fucking ASPCA wants 60 cents a day for a fucking dog or cat so I thought it was some miracle program and felt like I better jump on it for such a deal.
Fuck you and your 9 bucks a month Ma'am, I quivered out loud..., Ill gladly send 18$ a month to the ASPCA instead because there is no way your doing all that shit for someone else in some other country when I need it too ...and cant EVEN get it for that price for myself or FOR someone else HERE IN MY FUCKING COUNTRY.
What a fucking scam, I almost started making plans for my courses of study and what was for dinner when I went to get groceries, I was gonna try to scam a way to trade some groceries to a friend for GAS too ....but NO DEAL obviously!

This whole bad experiance that wasted an entire 17 minutes of my life has a happy ending....
The dog that I chose to support through the ASPCA instead.... by providing Shelter, food, and medical to for ...plus +...whatever sense of life a dog experiances ...(minus education mind you) Costs twice the amount...18$ VS 9$ compared to some underpriveledged human Somewhere...But not in Ames...I asked ...( I was getting jealous that instead it would go to a neighbor)......anyway., This dog has a name.
Its Bronco,.... he is a Chow mix.
Moral of the story...
Why cant the people running the underpriveledged foundation for humans somehow get associated with our ASPCA and save some $ SOMEWHERE...or at least start educating our strays for the same price by having the educators get aligned with the animal behaviorists?
Why not just switch roles completely because the $ difference is fucked up and I am pissed I wasnt included.

And its fucked up programs with no overall benefit to me or someone here in our own fucking country FIRST... exist in the first place!
Whether it costs 9 or 18 fucking dollars a month we should have DIBS!

I saw the ASPCA commercial this morning and got the phone call about thirty minutes before my post....I had to fuck with her when I put it together...She was so detailess...no plot...no information...So I went to the ASPCA website after...and through simple debit you can support an animal "Who needs your help" with the same needs...with no education needs...for 18$ a month...Or you can go through christian life ministries or who the fuck ever and support some human thats not in america for 9$ bucks a month..."With an education" I cant get that deal so fuck them, Ill support a dog.

No actually I didnt do it just for Ha HAs, just part way... I was in my mind trying to figure out how they could possibly do it for half of what the ASPCA needs for a animal with no education needs and so I decided to allow her lack of detail seem that I thought she was referring to me and my needs taken care of for 9 bucks. So I decided to support a dog for twice as much at least the ASPCA is honest and asks for a realistic amount and doenst mince words...
So Ill agree with the part about whatever you want to call me, Il just say and do awful stuff all the time here with nothing positive ever said...just abhorrant...can you define that?....and all I do is fuck with telemarketers for high fives on this site...its my goal in life, because I obviously got so many.... I personally thought the whole thing was hilarious because both commercial/phone call were almost identical in each others request. So youd support the human? in another country before helping a starving NATIVE anim? we humans neglected the animal before the foreigner and the animal is actually here... OMG Your an evil beast, strays everywhere are going to give you dirty looks everywhere you go, I hope you cross paths with a rabid biter...and you deserve it. because I guarantee Bronco is cuter than any of their sponsored recipients, so there...

It's amazing how for the price of a McDonald's lunch we can pay for another human being's food, shelter, education, medical aid, etc for a MONTH and there are still people who will scoff at the idea as the only thing that we're sure of is WE come FIRST. I felt good seeing your enthusiasm near the beginning, and felt sick when I realized what you were so enthusiastic about.
