So what im woundering is what state of mind will evolve? those that have lived a sober life, will their brains evolve as atteneded. or will the brains of those who have "experimented" with substances etc. will they evolve first. or does it not matter.

The Judgment is real, but the Christians won't be saved, the trippers will, cuz they'll be the only ones that don't freak out, and maybe some Tibetan monks or something.
I can't remember where I heard it, I think it was Tim Leary, who gave a huge hit of LSD to some monk and the guy didn't even flinch. That's waht I think will happen, a DMT flash and all of us will say "yep, next".
I have no idea what I'm saying...

i once read a tale...
the most elder monk of a monastery had heard of some sort of substance... LSD ...the westerners has been visiting the monastery and had brought it with them... the elder monk asked one of the younger monks to take the substance and share his experience...the younger monk took the LSD...the next day he reported to the elder monk, "the substance takes you to a higher state of consciousness...yet, I've been higher."

Yeah lately I've been meditating a lot and trying to reach a higher state without drugs.

Pick up any book in the new-age section of any bookstore and you will find mentions of the Mayans. The new age movement is a mish-mash of convenient theories grounded in no scientific basis whatsoever. It's incredible the amount of claims that are made to be scientific, especially in the realms of quantum physics.
I will kill the next person who claims that the reason the deli I frequent is out of turkey is due to an abnormal fluctuation of the quantum field. Physicists don't even know what is going on!

Did the Mayans actually predict anything? I thought the calender just ended and they didn't really comment on why. I think it was because that was as far as they got charting the paths of the stars hundreds of years into the future. Its a pretty big job, and an amazing achievement but eventually they could only do so much. The year 2012 was as far as they managed to accurately chart, given more time they would of probably gone further.
