Been on this site a few months and fnid its rather fun. Anyone who wants an invite just send me a PM with your email address.
Site is a virtual investing site here you can eventually earn real money based on how well you play the market with a vitrual million to start with. You beat out the S&P 500 by a certain percentage and earn real cash that way.
So far I've found that if I did have a real million to drop into stock I'd be 170k in profit a month and a half later. 
So, if you are ever thinking of playing the market but want to see what its like before you really invest in it, chck this place out. The site is 20 minutes behind the real market as far as prices but other then that works exactly like an internet stock trading site.

I'd love to have an invite, I'm a total noob at stocks, I just think it would be a good thing to try. Would you have any good sites for a beginner?

Yes. It is perfect for a beginner. I have never traded a real stock in my life other then owning company stock in places of employment and only because thats how they vested my various BENEFITS.
I'm curerntly up 178 thousand on a one million investment amount, so 17.8% Not bad at all.

I have an account there (Ferris0000), started 03/14/08. Looks like I had a hard day today.
Phillip Morris (PM) split from Altria (MO), hence the -35% there, which is just a programming error.
The only bad move I've made so far has been Genentech (DNA), which I thought was a sure fire move, but it dropped 25% or so and has rebounded a little. I think I'll just liquidate it now so that I have some wiggle room in case of a market drop.
Anualized return so far - 40%, but it's too soon to be proud of that.
I also started another count to test out day trading and did well for the first couple days, but neglected it for a few days and lost 50k
