ID Request NSW Australia
    #8325616 - 04/24/08 11:56 PM (4 years, 1 month ago)

Hello again,

this time I'm a little more confidant, i found a few of these at different spots but most of them were rotten and totally minging, i got a visit from a colleague of mine in the afternoon and he tells me he saw a large patch somewhere close by and said we should check it out. so we did? lucky day!!!

i think.

a picture of the whole lot. ^_^

they were all from the same patch and are as far as i can tell all the same type/species/wajigger.

Habitat:Mulch, Underneath some small trees, next to a path, partial shade.

Gills:Nutty brown to a slightly darker shade of brown. Attached(i think).

Stem: White, with some bluing near the base and up towards the top of the stem.stringy/fibrous.

Cap: Golden brown, in differing shades with what appears to be bluing at the edges of some of the caps, could just be dirty.

Spore Print: In Progress

Bruising: Blue bruising on all of them in some way, on the stem and some parts of the caps.

Location: Illawarra NSW ^ ~

Tell me what you think

<3

what colour should the spore prints come out for P. Subaeruginosa?

Also, is there a weight/dosage calc for this species on the site?

yea, this species is one of the most potent, i make tea from time to time for people who wont eat em but its just no way near as good as eating them.
If your going to make a tea i find its best to chop em a bit and simmer in water (not boil) until the water goes darkish, then add a tea bag and bobs ya auncle!
have fun:grin::thumbup:
i know u will

also, we were kind to the patch, only took every 3rd one and used scissors ^_^ so it appears there will be much more fun for later.
