 Could this guy be a Narc?

Last september the main pot dealer at my school was reported for selling and was put under house arrest. I didnt really know him to well but he seemed like a pretty cool guy. Many of my friends bought off him quite a bit. Today, my friend was phoned by him and asked if he wanted to buy acid (alot) from him. He never (to my knowledge) sold acid before. Im not sure if this guy is off the hook with the law yet or not, but could he be a narc?

narc or not i dont talk to people that got arrested unless i know them very well
nfact i don't talk to anyone that i think would narc out to begin with

Yeah if you like your friend then dont let him buy it. Tell someone else to test it for you who you dont mind if they got arrested.

Seems suspicious that he mentioned a specific amount for your friend to buy. Unless it was a vial.

Usually they don't build up conspiracy charges that way unless they are a big time dealer. It really depends on where you live though, as what happens in the US vs what happens in Canada is different.

yeah narcs are out there. i knew a guy who tried to fuck a bunch of people over after he got arrested. nobody bought in tho cuz they found out he had his charges dropped, and he got desperate trying to find dealers and eventually lost all his friends. it was sad.

SAD? Man, fuck that dude. I am not a violent guy, but damn near every fight I have been in has been with a snitch. I say fuck'em. Make him strip down and still refuse to mess with him. That will be the end of it.

Put him in a situation where selling to you would count as entrapment, or just make sure he's not wearing a wire.

Entrapment is really hard to prove with drug cases. They do it all the time and rarely do people get charges thrown out because of it.

Doubtful he is a narc. By doing this "setup" he would be blowing his cover to make one arrest on a highschool kid. Either the cops don't expect much from him so blowing it on one kid is OK, or hes just trying to get rid of some new stuff he has come into contact with.
