It's always best to try and get fresh seeds if possible, I'm not too sure about HBWR but I'm sure after a year they start to lose there potency or so I have heard.
I'm not a 100% sure mate, but there will be someone on here who can confirm that or correct if it's wrong

In my experience they´ll stay fairly potent as long as they´re well stored, away from light, heat and humidity.
